YOGA WITH KIDS

Kids are everything to us; therefore we want only the best for them. And yoga is one of the best activities for kids. Yoga helps children not only in correct physical development, but also to feel better about themselves, and to be more connected to their community. Kids learn how to relax, develop their imagination and how to have a joy of life. Yoga teaches kids to be calm and have less stress in their life.

To benefit from kids yoga, we must follow certain principles and adjust the excersise to their age and psychomotor skills. Lessons of children's yoga should be lead by an experienced and qualified teacher with experience with yoga and also the knowledge of kids’ physical and mental development.
Kids’ yoga lessons are quite different from those for adults. We respect that montion is natural for children and we run around, jump, play, sing songs and say rhymes or fairy tales. And through it all is still learn how to deal with our body. We do most of the yoga positions dynamically with kids. We want primary the kids to enjoy and love yoga lessons and have a fun.

Is yoga good for your child? Contact us and come with children to join a yoga lesson. If your child has health problems, please consult them with your doctor first.

 

WHAT TO BRING TO THE CLASS:

  • comfortable clothing, preferably made of natural materials. Don’t wear tight clothes to prevent breathing, digestion and blood circulation.
  • drink – it’s good to drink a small amount of wather or non-sparkling beverages before the class. It’s better if kids can stay without drinking during the yoga exersise.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

  • meals – we recommend not to eat heavy meals 2 - 3 hours before exercise yoga. Kids can have a small fruit snack an hour before exercise. Stomach and intestines should be empty during the exercise.
  • sick or debilitated children should not practice yoga.
  • If your child has any health or other problems, please let us know prior to the class.
